Basketball analyst Colin Cowherd believes that the Boston Celtics will oust the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Per FOX Sports, peep Cowherd's explanation below. For him, the Celtics — who have been tagged as legitimate playoff contenders — will outlast the relatively inexperienced Bucks squad.

He also noted that the Celtics have the best closer and head coach in the league.

“I'll take Boston. They have more successful playoff experience, they have the best closer in this series in Kyrie Irving and the best coach in this series.”

While Cowherd's opinion may raise eyebrows, various analysts predict the same thing. The Bucks notched 60 wins this season and are the best regular season team. But this squad has never won a playoff series other than a first-round matchup. And history reveals that a stellar regular season doesn't always guarantee a successful playoff campaign.

This Celtics team, meanwhile, has made it to the Conference Finals for two straight years. While they only placed fourth in the East in the regular season, they four-game manhandling of the Indiana Pacers prove that they still are one of the better teams in the NBA.

As Irving said towards the end of the season, he wanted the playoffs to begin as soon as possible so they can play games that actually mean something.
