Boston Celtics big man Enes Kanter is without question one of the biggest trash talkers in the league today. However, the 27-year-old veteran broke character a bit on Thursday, as he provided some legitimately constructive advice for Joel Embiid as the C's took on the Philadelphia 76ers.

Kanter actually took the time to tell Embiid that he should ignore all the negativity around him, also reminding him that he remains to be one of the most dominant players in the game today.

Kanter's message appears to have worked wonders for Embiid, with Philadelphia's All-Star big man torching the Celtics with 38 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists, en route to a 115-109 victory for the Sixers. Philly also handed Boston with their first home loss of the season following a very impressive 10-game winning streak.

This endearing narrative just proves that despite the high level of intense competition in the league, at the end of the day, it is still a brotherhood between all the players. Winning is unquestionably one of the most important aspects of the game, but as exhibited by Kanter here, the well-being of your peers comes above all.

For his part, Kanter was actually also quite impressive against the Sixers, logging 20 points on 10-of-13 shooting, nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in 24 minutes off the bench. Boston were missing a few players in their rotation due to injury, and Kanter took full advantage with one of his best games of the season.
