The Boston Celtics have banned a fan for life who threw a drink on the court at TD Garden.

The incident occurred on Wednesday during the Celtics' loss to the San Antonio Spurs:

The Celtics are 25-10 on the season, which is good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. However, Boston has lost two games in a row, so the Celtics will look to get back in the win column on Thursday when they take on the rival Philadelphia 76ers in Philly.

The Celtics got blown out by the Sixers on opening night in Philadelphia. They also lost to Philly on Dec. 12 at home by six points, so Boston will be eager to get its first win over the Sixers in what will be a hostile environment.

In his first season with the Celtics, Kemba Walker is averaging 22.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists. Boston appears on its way to redeeming itself from last season, where they were labeled as championship contenders before the season started, but lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the playoffs in five games.

Walker, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have each been playing like All-Stars this season. Before the season started, most pundits picked the Sixers and Milwaukee Bucks to meet in the Conference Finals. Boston may have something to say about that when it's all said and done.
