Taking the ball from point guard Marcus Smart on a slip screen, Jayson Tatum worked against Blake Griffin just under the arc with 10 seconds remaining. Looking to take advantage of the mismatch–which was caused by a beautiful pin down from Daniel Theis right before the pass–the young superstar blew past the slow big man before firing a mid-range jumper to give the Celtics the lead with 2.9 seconds remaining.

Further tormenting Blake, Tatum then switched onto Griffin in the next sequence, following Jerami Grant's bizarre decision to pass him the ball near midcourt with time running out. Forced to heave a desperation 3-pointer with the clock expiring, the Celtics forward deftly used his long reach to swipe at the ball before Griffin could hoist it up, causing a double-clutch shot that was both late and off the mark.

In leading the team to the 122-120 victory, not only did Tatum help the Celtics improve to 4-3 on the season, but he also earned another mark in his growing list of accomplishments.
