Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker acknowledged just how special his teammates Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown truly are after 109-101 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.

The two young stars combined for a monstrous 61-point outing against the Sixers to give the Celtics a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference first-round affair.

“Special,” Walker described the Celtics' elite swingmen after the game, per Alexandra Francisco of NESN.

“Those two dudes are super special talents. They showed it today. Every big moment they made big plays. Whenever we needed a big play they made it, and it’s just fun to watch. It’s really fun to be a part of their growth and hopefully, they just continue to get better with what they’re doing.”

Furthermore, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown got themselves in the history books, becoming the first duo aged 23 or younger to record at least 25 points apiece in the same playoff game.

Tatum led all scorers with 32 markers on 10-for-21 shooting from the field and 2-of-5 from deep. He also pulled down 13 rebounds and tallied three blocks and one dime in 41 minutes.

Brown, on the other hand, added 29 points, six rebounds, and four assists in 39 minutes. The 6-foot-6 winger, who drilled five 3-pointers versus the Sixers, also passed Celtics great Antoine Walker for sixth place on Boston's all-time list for postseason triples.

Apart from their big scoring nights, both Tatum and Brown came up big on both ends of the floor each time the Sixers made a run. Their spirited performance allowed Boston to overcome a strong double-double from Philly's All-Star Joel Embiid, who had 26 points and 16 rebounds.

Tatum and Brown's play-styles are certainly quite similar and there have been questions on whether the two could co-exist on the same floor together. Judging by their tandem's amazing performance tonight, it seems the Celtics have really found the perfect fit.
