Ever had a moment when you see something and then you just can't unsee it again? That's what many World Cup soccer fans went through today on social media when they made the comparison of Boston Celtics superstar point guard Kyrie Irving to 34-year-old Panama national football team midfielder Gabriel Gómez.

Panama made their 2018 World Cup debut today and may have lost 3-0 to Belgium in the Group Stage, but what many people took out of this game was how eerily similar Gómez looks to Irving.

You can be the judge for yourself, as Twitch streamer GOOM took to Twitter and posted a side-by-side comparison of Gómez from today's match against Belgium and a photo of Irving from his 2017-18 campaign with the Celtics.

That is pretty trippy, right? Irving may have had to miss the entire 2018 NBA postseason for the Celtics because of his knee injury, but apparently, he was able to make it out to Russia for the World Cup to play for Panama.

Gómez has been a member of the Panama national football team since all the way back in 2003, so it must have been a thrill for him to finally take the pitch for his home country of Panama in their World Cup debut earlier today.

Maybe one day these two will actually pose for a picture together, as the facial similarities between the two players are hard to unsee.
