The Boston Celtics are on a two-game winning streak and veteran small forward Marcus Morris says the team can't let up on the momentum they have right now.

The Celtics are coming off wins against the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings. Speaking to reporters on Friday, Morris says “it's prime time for us to get our shit together.”

The Celtics are 40-26 on the season, which is good for fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Boston was the preseason favorite to win the East. So even though the Celtics have a good record and are going to make the playoffs, it's been a disappointing season in Beantown considering the high expectations which surrounded the team before the year began.

With 16 games left in the season, Boston is looking to close out the campaign strong and enter the postseason on a high note. Marcus Morris, one of the leaders on the team, is hoping whatever good spirits the Celtics have right now will continue on Saturday when the C's take on the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center.

In 61 games this season, Morris is averaging 14.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists. The 29 year old is shooting 46.4 percent from the field, 38.4 percent from beyond the arc and 83.3 percent from the free-throw line.
