While some NBA players are enjoying their vacation, incoming second-year man of the Boston Celtics Jayson Tatum is knocking down 18 consecutive 3-pointers.

Tatum quickly showed that he has a bright future in the NBA last season. With two of their superstars out, Tatum, in just his first year, quickly learned how to play the game like a professional. In 80 regular season games, he averaged 13.9 points, five rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He also knocked down 1.3 threes nightly on three attempts.
But it's in the playoffs where Tatum made his mark. He logged in 18.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. He was the focal point of the Celtics in the playoffs. His length, size, athletic ability, and above-average basketball IQ was an asset on both ends of the floor.
More proof of his potential are words from his contemporaries. LeBron James himself said that the 20-year-old is built for stardom. Per Chris Forsberg of ESPN:
“I just love everything about the kid, the way he plays the game, his demeanor, where he comes from,” James said. “I just know he's built for stardom. He's built for success. And that's both on and off the floor.”
His head coach Brad Stevens pointed out Tatum's special talent:
“He can get a lot better. That's the fun part,” Stevens said. “I think there are so many little things that he'll continue to improve upon, but he's not afraid. He's tough-minded and obviously has a special talent for putting the ball in the basket.”
