Since the start of the season, Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has continued to impress with his solid all-around game. From scoring in different ways to his versatility on the defensive end, he has turned a lot of heads and living up to expectations placed on his young shoulders being the third overall pick in last June’s draft.

On Monday night against the Denver Nuggets, the former Duke star showed off that he also has some post moves up his sleeves. He found himself isolated versus Torrey Craig with 4:30 left in the third quarter and did not waste time in trying to shake off his defender. After spinning to quickly face the basket and shoot a jumper, he dropped the Nuggets swingman to his feet and left the Denver faithful inside Pepsi Center in awe.

The jumper he knocked down was part of his strong game on the night where he finished with 20 points, six rebounds, and four assists. He also complimented Kyrie Irving well as they won on the road, 111-110, to improve their Eastern Conference-leading 36-15 record. With Marcus Smart currently injured, he has stepped up nicely in his absence and has been a good source of points and rebounds for the Beantown team.

The Nuggets, on the other hand, saw their record drop to 26-24 and are now only half a game ahead of the L.A. Clippers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West. Nikola Jokic top-scored for them with 24 points, to go along with 11 rebounds and five assists.
