The Kansas City Chiefs have ridded themselves of their early-season woes and rallied to the tune of an eight-game win streak. Head coach Andy Reid is extremely content with what he's seen from his squad of late, offering an elite comparison for his side. After the Chiefs took down the Steelers on Sunday, Reid compared the team to a piece of prime rib, an analogy only he would come up with on the spot, via Rob Collins.

That's just about the perfect summation of the Chiefs' turnaround this season. Through their first seven games, the Chiefs looked like a frozen dinner or an airplane entrée, but after finding their rhythm and clinching their sixth-consecutive AFC West title, the team is now looking like a top quality prime rib, at least in the mind of Reid.

Many experts and fans were writing the Chiefs off after their defense's lackluster start to the year and Patrick Mahomes' early-season woes. Those have since been corrected, and dramatically, making the Chiefs look like Super Bowl favorites once more. We're hoping someone treated Reid to a hefty piece of prime rib after clinching the division again, as his work in KC has certainly warranted a significant reward.

The Chiefs close out the season with matchups against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17, and the Denver Broncos in Week 18. Both games will be on the road, so Reid's squad will be tested as they look to close out the season on a 10-game win streak. If they manage to do that, we can only imagine the incredible food comparisons Reid will bring to the table.
