The Kansas City Chiefs added to their arsenal of weapons for superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes when they signed free agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The first thought of many was how the offense would look with the former Steelers star, who has a 1400-yard season under his belt. However, the next thing many thought of is how many TikToks- a popular social media app- he would make with Mahomes' brother Jackson. Both Smith-Schuster and Mahomes are active on the app, which prompted many to look at his signing with the Chiefs as a budding partnership for the two. The newly signed Chiefs wideout was asked about making TikToks with Mahomes and offered a 5-word response, as reported by Sports Illustrated.

“Nah, that is not happening,” he said, when asked by NFL Network’s Taylor Bisciotti. “I’ll put it out there right now, I’m not making no TikToks.”

Surprising! So, Smith-Schuster won't be making any TikToks with Jackson Mahomes. That's probably a relief for his brother Patrick, as Jackson hasn't exactly had the best timing when it comes to recording his videos.

Mahomes got himself into trouble when he recorded a video dancing on a logo of deceased former Washington Commanders safety Sean Taylor during a ceremony to honor the former NFL star.

It's likely that the Chiefs saw what kind of TikTok monster they were about to create and pulled Smith-Schuster aside. Why else would the former Steeler, an avid user of the app himself, be so willing to put it aside?

Or perhaps Smith-Schuster, who only played in five games this past season due to a shoulder injury, has a chip on his shoulder and doesn't want any distractions.

Either way, it appears that his TikTok career will be put on hold. For now.
