Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes might not be on the field in training camp quite yet, but he looks very close to doing so.
The Chiefs star underwent surgery on his big toe during the offseason but according to this video from Mahomes' trainer, he could be back on the field in no time.

Patrick Mahomes is having no issues with his agility, especially laterally. If that toe was in fact bothering him still, there is not a chance he'd be able to do a drill like that. He was cleared to resume all football activities in June, though.
Article Continues BelowMahomes had nothing but praise for his trainer Bobby Stroupe, who has been getting him right in time for the 2021 season.
“He’s . . . really got a good game plan of how we’re going to continue to rehab, but at the same time making sure that I’m physically ready to go whenever training camp goes and have no limitations at all,” Patrick Mahomes said last month, via arrowheadpride.com.
The Chiefs QB is coming off another solid campaign in 2020, throwing for 4,740 yards and 38 touchdowns. While KC's Super Bowl dreams were ended by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the title game, Patrick Mahomes and the squad will be looking to right their wrongs this season as they eye their second Vince Lombardi trophy in three years.
