Sunday night's matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills was one for the history books. It came down to the wire, but ultimately, the Chiefs found a way to win the game. However, their chances were slim to none in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. It's safe to say, Patrick Mahomes defied logic.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, the Bills had a 91 percent chance of winning in those final 13 seconds of the game. Instead, Patrick Mahomes marched the Chiefs down the field, got into field goal range, and forced overtime. It was one of, if not the most insane endings in NFL playoff history.

When it comes to the greats, they always say don't leave time on the clock. We've seen NFL legends make something happen from nothing time and time again. However, 13 seconds is pushing it. The Chiefs basically never should have been able to drive the field and still have time to kick a field goal. However, when you have Patrick Mahomes under center, anything is possible.

What we witnessed on Sunday night is a rare occurrence. Patrick Mahomes is a unique star and the Chiefs are in good hands with him under center. Kansas City is chasing after their third Super Bowl appearance in three years, as this franchise is on fire right now.

The AFC has its hands full, as it's hard to imagine the Chiefs trailing off anytime soon. This victory over the Bills is just more validation that Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks to play this sport and he's just getting started.
