The Kansas City Chiefs stunned the NFL world when they announced they were signing quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a 10-year, $450 million extension last week.

Well, everyone except for a local liquor store employee.

A woman named Kate Camlin tweeted about the impending Mahomes extension after a Chiefs employee bought bottles of champagne from the liquor store she worked at, though she deleted the tweets shortly thereafter.

Nevertheless, the tweets indeed proved prophetic. The Chiefs humorously recreated the scenario with a video on Twitter Thursday morning.

Apparently, Chiefs GM Brett Veach was indeed the person who conceptualized the video. Of course, the clip is also altered to reflect timeliness with the name drop of defensive tackle Chris Jones.

The Chiefs signed Jones to a four-year, $85 million extension prior to Wednesday's deadline, solidifying the defensive front and eliminating questions about a potential holdout.

Obviously, the defending champions are feeling pretty good about themselves after locking up two franchise cornerstones in a span of nine days.
