The L.A. Clippers won't be the same team that fans have gotten used to seeing once the 2017-18 season tips off.

After trading star point guard Chris Paul and Sixth Man Jamal Crawford, as well as losing sharpshooter JJ Redick in free agency, the team will ultimately boast of a core group lineup featuring new additions Danilo Gallinari, Milos Teodosic, Patrick Beverley, Sam Dekker, Lou Williams, and Montrezl Harrell.

So far, it appears the Clippers are nearing the end of their roster shakeup and now look to bring back two of their contributors from last season, shooting big man Marreese Speights and defensive-minded wing Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.

According to Brad Turner of the LA Times, the Clippers are interested in bringing the two back after both opted out of their contracts this summer, but the sides are not close to deals yet.

Both players are veterans, know the Clippers system, and could give the hopeful contenders much more depth. Not coming to a deal with the two players wouldn't necessarily hamper their efforts, but it would certainly help them in their hopes of contending in the ever-competitive Western Conference.
