The L.A Clippers and Dallas Mavericks faced off on Sunday night in a game that had plenty of drama. On a night that had an ejection and a tooth knocked out, Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell provided one of the many highlights after throwing down a poster slam and staring DeAndre Jordan down.

Montrezl Harrell added salt to the wound after embarrassing Jordan by refusing to back out of his way after putting him on a poster. Jordan didn't take kindly to it, giving Harrell a bump to break the staredown.

Eventually, DeAndre Jordan would get the last laugh, as the Mavs would eventually prevail by a score of 114-110, knocking the Clippers into a tie for the first seed in the Western Conference with the Denver Nuggets.

Harrell has been a key player for the Clippers as they have surpassed everyone's expectations and are making a serious playoff run with no true star on their team. Montrezl Harrell is currently in the running for Sixth Man of the Year, boasting an impressive stat line of 16.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game while shooting an insanely efficient 65 percent from the field.

Montrezl Harrell is doing this all from the bench and hasn't started one game for the Clippers despite his productivity. Even more interesting is that in a league that has begun to emphasize three-pointers and stretch fours, Harrell has become one of the most efficient and useful players while rarely shooting from outside the paint.

If he continues to play like this, the Clippers will have a great shot of sneaking into the Western Conference playoff picture.
