One of the most intriguing matchups in week one of college football is the battle between Colorado football and TCU football. TCU went all the way to the national championship last year, but after losing a lot of talent to the NFL, they come into the season ranked #17. Everyone is excited to see Colorado because of head coach Deion Sanders making his debut. What a matchup he has for his first game with the Buffaloes. This is a game that doesn't need any more hype as all eyes in the college football world will be on it, but Sanders added some more intrigue to it recently by discussing some past issues that his son had with TCU offensive coordinator Kendal Briles.

He didn’t want to wait. He’s like, ‘I ain’t waiting two years to get on the field.’ So he chose FAU because he had a relationship with Willie Taggart that derived from FSU when he was gonna go there. But the coordinator that we’re playing against this week was there, and he didn’t treat Shedeur kindly. So there’s a lot of blood in that thing.”
Deion Sanders didn't elaborate on how his son was treated poorly, but this certainly adds another element to the game. Shedeur Sanders is the starting quarterback for Colorado football, so he has some extra motivation to perform well against this TCU team.
