The Dallas Cowboys got some tough news on wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Lamb, who suffered a concussion in last week's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, was not able to pass the necessary protocols of a concussion, per Ari Meirov of the NFL:

This means that the Cowboys will be without Lamb, who has been a top target for them all year. Additionally, with Amari Cooper out as well due to COVID-19 related issues, Dallas will be forced to play with minimal offensive weapons. Statistically, Lamb leads the team with 740 yards received, while Cooper follows behind closely with 583. In terms of touchdowns scored, the two have six and five, respectively.

After a solid rookie season, Lamb has displayed the true potential of being a top receiver in the league. With him not available, however, quarterback Dak Prescott will need to utilize other players and have a great game himself if they want to have a positive Thanksgiving game outcome. The Cowboys are currently 7-3 and at the top of a weak NFC East. Yet Dallas will need to confidently beat the Las Vegas Raiders, who are currently 5-5,  if they want to prove to the league that they are true playoff threats this season.
