Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is hungry for the Super Bowl. But how hungry is he? Well, if his latest social media activity is any indication, he's really starving.

The Cowboys have not won the Super Bowl since 1995, and they haven't even reached the conference championship ever since then. With that said, one can only imagine the frustration of the players and the fanbase for the lack of success for almost three decades now.

Lawrence wants to end that drought, and as he posted on Twitter, he needs that Super Bowl trophy. The star DE even went as far as to posting a photo of Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin from the Cowboy's last championship parade to motivate himself.

Sure enough, Cowboys fans will love to see the franchise lift the Vince Lombardi trophy once again. It has been a long wait, and it's just brutal that it has been over 25 years without a championship for the so-called America's Team.

For what it's worth, it is not only DeMarcus Lawrence who is motivated to win that award that has eluded the team for decades. Early in the offseason, Dak Prescott himself declared to a fan that they are “damn right” winning the Super Bowl this 2022.

Of course the Cowboys have to walk the talk, but it's definitely nice to see the team's leaders commit to it. Hopefully, Prescott, Lawrence and the rest of the team can get the job done in the new season.
