Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been dealing with a bothersome knee injury for some time now, and it became a concern once again during their Week 11 showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.

However, Zeke played down the fears on his nagging injury and highlighted that what he's feeling is only “temporary pain.”

“Obviously, if I land on it or get twisted up and tangled, I’m going to get some pain there. But it’s more temporary pain,” Elliott shared, per the Cowboys' website. “It’s kind of like how you stub your toe and you have to walk it off, that’s kind of what it’s like.”

Ezekiel Elliott briefly left Sunday's game against the Chiefs to get his knee checked, though he was eventually able to return and play. On Tuesday, his availability got a massive boost when Dallas listed him as a full participant in practice.

By the looks of it, Elliott's injury is not serious and he has recovered to the point that he will not have to sit out any game. While the fact that the injury remains bothersome, it doesn't appear it will be a long-term problem as the Cowboys try to fight for the playoffs.

For what it's worth, though, the Cowboys can't afford to miss another offensive weapon. Wide receiver Amari Cooper is expected to be out when they play the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12 due to COVID-19, while CeeDee Lamb is still in concussion protocol.

Hopefully for the Cowboys, Zeke doesn't suffer any setback as they try to get back to the win column following their loss to the Chiefs.
