Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones doesn't expect the NFL to discipline running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Jones spoke in the aftermath of Elliott's recent arrest at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas last weekend, per ESPN's Todd Archer.

I think that the main thing is that I don't see anything that needs supporting.

In terms of his status with us, [it] has not been impacted in any way. And frankly, I know how conscientious he has been in the offseason, and that's good enough. No, I don't see that having any consequences for us.

TMZ Sports first reported the news of the Elliott incident. After he got into an argument with his girlfriend in the parking lot, he confronted security personnel on the scene.

Elliott eventually shoved a security guard twice, per TMZ Sports. After Elliott threw his hands up, authorities handcuffed him. Archer says they detained him but didn't arrest him. The security guard whom he shoved didn't press charges.

Elliott's lawyer, Frank Salzano, told TMZ Sports event security “overreacted to the situation.” The website noted the league could discipline Elliott again for violating its personal conduct policy.

Jerry Jones disagrees.

Cowboys brass – including Jones' son Stephen Jones and head coach Jason Garrett – praised Elliott for his growth since the NFL suspended him in 2017, per Archer. The league suspended him six games for violating its personal conduct policy.

Will Ezekiel Elliott elude the NFL's discipline this time? It should be interesting to find out.
