Tony Romo appears to have completely moved on from one particular bitter moment in his career with the Dallas Cowboys. After the Cincinnati Bengals completed a come-from-behind victory against the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's AFC Championship Game, Romo cracked a joke that referenced his infamous botched snap in the 2006 NFL Playoffs and immediately made Twitter go wild.

It could be remembered that Romo and the Cowboys had a clear shot at making a short 19-yard field goal against the Seattle Seahawks in that playoff game, but Romo fumbled the hold, tried to salvage the play by attempting to rush the ball into the end zone only to fall agonizingly short.

When Romo cracked that joke, the Bengals were on the attack in overtime following an interception off Patrick Mahomes. With the game still tied and the Chiefs already having wasted possession in extra time, Cincy just needed a score to win.

On a third-and-11, the Bengals elected to bring out kicker Evan McPherson, prompting the ex-Cowboys QB to drop a joke. Fortunately for the Bengals, they executed better on that play than Romo and the Cowboys, as McPherson buried a 31-yard field goal to give Cincinnati a 27-24 win and a ticket to Super Bowl 56.
