The Chicago Cubs welcomed back fans into attendance at full capacity at Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon for a matinee game against the St. Louis Cardinals. The fans also got a special treat when actor and well-known Cubs fan Bill Murray sang Take Me Out to the Ballgame in the 7th inning.

What a scene. First, Wrigley Field was jam-packed for the first time in what feels like forever after the COVID-19 pandemic curbed sports fans from flocking in to see their teams. Although the game didn't start well for the Cubs as they face a 5-1 deficit, they turned it around and used some key hits from Anthony Rizzo and Joc Pederson to storm back and win the game 8-5, sending the Cubs faithful into a frenzy.

Murray also joined in on the Cubs broadcast booth and had some memorable lines while giving some tourist attraction ideas to everybody listening.

It is a welcomed sign to see fans back at sporting events, and especially Cubs fans who always remain some of the best in professional sports.

Bill Murray was loving every single second of it, and why wouldn't he? The classic move by Bill Murray, and to top it off the Cubs head into the weekend with a victory over their division rivals.

Never change, Bill, never change.
