When Gordon Hayward officially hits the free-agent market at midnight on Friday, the Boston Celtics are expected to be one of most aggressive teams in pursuit of the All-Star forward.

At the forefront of that push is Celtics general manager Danny Ainge. However, his son Tanner Ainge, a politician in Utah, wants Hayward to consider the potential taxes he would face if he signs with Boston:

This falls in line with Tanner's previous stance. During an interview with the Deseret News, Tanner made it clear that he hopes Hayward re-signs with the Jazz.

Still, the Celtics have the opportunity to offer Hayward a four-year, $127 million contract once the free agency period begins. However, the Miami Heat may have an upper hand with their tax situation, as Florida does not have a state income tax, which means more money in Hayward's pocket.

The 27-year-old will have plenty of things to weigh in his decision-making process. No matter what his decision is, it will have a major impact on each of these franchises.

Hayward is coming off his best individual season, averaging a career-high 21.9 points with 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He earned his first All-Star Game selection.
