Since the Ball Family released Lonzo Ball‘s first shoe in the ZO2, there has been plenty of reactions on bottom ends of the spectrum stemming from the price of the product and the overall design.

In light of that, former Kentucky point guard De'Aaron Fox recently took a playful jab at the design of Ball's new shoes subtly stating during a recent pre-draft interview with former NBA player Brian Scalabrine for Slam Magazine that he has copied the look of Kobe Bryant‘s sneakers.

Scalabrine: “By far the best basketball shoe ever made?
Fox: “Kobe's.”
Scalabrine: “No question. No doubt. I don't why the rest of the world remakes this over and over again. But wait, someone is trying.”
Fox: “Someone is. So we're on the same page.”

The back and forth jabbering between both Fox and Ball has been going on for the last several months with these latest comments only adding another layer to their growing rivalry. This includes each of their fathers going at it through the media about each other's son.

As for the ZO2 shoe, it has received its fair share of criticism for its similar design to several of the shoes from Kobe's line. Ball has even acknowledged that he has used the five-time NBA champion's footwear as a major source of inspiration for his first shoe.

This will likely take center stage over the next several years with each playing in the Pacific Division with the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings. All in all, it's only a matter of time before the Ball family issues their own response back at Fox, which should only further fuel their ongoing feud.
