As reported earlier today, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was arrested in Lansing, Michigan on charges of assault.

More details have surfaced since the initial report, and it has been reported that Green struck the alleged victim in a nightclub.

The Warriors had little detail and released a statement about waiting to hear more on the incident.

Earlier reports had Green arrested after an altercation and an alleged victim flagging down a police car, where he was arrested and taken into custody. Police weren't willing to give much information on what happened and denied confirming anything that was reported after the arrest until now.

Police finally released a report with more detail after Green was released that you can read here.

We are confirming that Draymond Green was arrested for assault in our downtown business district early Sunday morning at around 2:30AM. The victim was a male. It was basically an altercation between two guys. There's no injuries. He was released with a 200 dollar bond on Sunday. And he's got 10 days to get arraigned and then prosecution will continue from there.

Keep an eye on this story because there is a very slight chance Green could face punishment from the Warriors organization, if they see fit.
