Not all Espers are made equal, and some can even go beyond the power of Gods. Find out who is which in our Dislyte 5-Star Esper Tier List.

Dislyte has a wide roster of 5-star Espers who are capable in many different roles, but some can dominate in certain aspects, while a few can perform well in almost any content. Because of such differences between these Legendary Espers, we have ranked them into different tiers and compiled a full tier list based on their overall usability and performance.

Keep in mind that this tier list serves as a generalization for those who want to see which Espers can do the most content. All of these Espers can perform exceptionally well at the right content with the right build, but resource management is also a major part of gameplay. Investing in the right Esper can potentially make progression a lot easier, and can even save you more resources in the long run.

Dislyte 5-Star Esper Tier List

Dislyte, Dislyte Guides, Dislyte 5-Star Tier List June 2022

S Tier

These Espers are amazing generalists who are easy to build, yet incredibly impactful to any team they’re put in. They are the cream of the crop, and can provide immense power or comfort in all kinds of content.

Gabrielle (Njord) – Only obtainable from Esper Fusion, Gabrielle is considered by some to be the pinnacle support character in the entire game. She has so many tools at her disposal, from granting team-wide immunity and Def Up for two turns, while inflicting Atk Down and Def Down to the entire enemy team. This might not seem to be much, but the nasty combo of increased allied Def and lowered enemy Atk creates immense damage mitigation, especially when it’s all coming from one Esper.

Sally (Sif) – The undisputed queen of healing. She has two low-cooldown abilities that heal allies, along with having team-wide Atk Up and Dispel, which makes fighting against her extremely difficult. Her abilities are also wonderful for all kinds of PvE content.

Clara (Hera) – She’s also an amazing healer like Sally, but what makes her different is the ability to constantly provide Immunity, Dispels, and Shields, all at the same time. All of Clara’s healing can Dispel debuffs, and will instead provide Immunity if there are no debuffs present. Furthermore, if the ally’s HP is full, overflowed healing is converted into Shield, making her entire team extremely durable. Unlike Sally who has ATK Up, Clara has AP Up, which can be more useful for clutching out rotations.

Li Ling (Nezha) – A very popular fighter who can be obtained from the Beginner Echo, Li Ling’s usefulness can’t be understated. He is possibly the best farmer in the game thanks to his amazing AoE damage, along with having very few bad matchups due to his Inferno element. He is incredibly easy to build, but can still scale really hard with good relics.

A Tier

These Espers are often the best at what they do but can struggle in some content, especially in PvE. Nevertheless, they are still worth investing in due to their high natural power and utility.

Unas (Shu) – King of Speed. Unas can grant team-wide Immunity when he ends his turn not immobilized. More importantly, his low-cooldown Ult that grants team-wide AP is a monster when used correctly, and can result in multiple rotations before the enemy team can even begin to act. When paired with AP manipulators, Unas can completely control enemy teams in Point War.

Tiye (Nut) – Massive AP Steal and Spd Down debuffs make her an amazing control Esper. She also has a SPD Bonus Captain Ability, making her teams rotate faster than the enemy.

Narmer (Ra) – This Esper is a very powerful DPS unit, that’s also just as difficult to play properly. His kit relies on properly buffing him to increase his Burning Sun stacks, and eventually blasting it in an explosive fashion. Finding a good team around him might take some time, but it’s going to be a lot easier once you have the setup ready.

Lucas (Apollo) – He is a well-rounded Controller Esper, who can pump and steal AP, stun, and even dispel the buffs of the enemy team. He’s not as powerful as Unas who can accelerate his entire team, but he can be a strong annoyance, especially in Point War, though not as much in PvE.

Sienna (Gaia) – If you haven’t noticed yet, most of the power units have some sort of AP manipulation and Spd advantage at all times; Sienna is no exception. Sienna is a powerful support unit that can grant Atk and Spd Up at the same time and can wipe the whole enemy team’s AP.

Lewis (Ares) – If Li Ling is the king of AoE DPS, Lewis is the king of single-target DPS. His second and third ability can be immediately chained if the first one hits, resulting in two consecutive turns of insane damage. Lewis is often used for dispatching key targets and is also frequently used against Kronos and Apep.

Hyde (Hades) – The Undertaker of Dislyte. This Esper simply just wouldn’t die once you play into his cards. He is immune to all buffs and debuffs unconditionally take reduced damage from all sources and can stack his passive to gain strength and durability. All of these combined makes him able to destroy unsuspecting foes in Point War, and even solo Apep 10 when built correctly.

B Tier

These Espers are powerful in the right team and content, but also require investment in the other members of their team comps.

Donar (Thor) – This Esper is a battle tank. And by that, we mean a tank that can deflect attacks and shoot a destructive cannon at the same time. Donar is one of the few Espers who can convert their Def stat into damage, and he’s the best at exactly doing that.

Triki (Loki) – Some might argue that he’s somewhat useless in the current state of the game, and this is because Triki is a counter to buff teams in a metagame full of debuff teams. Nowadays when beatdown teams are more common, Triki suddenly becomes a fantastic Esper to counter the likes of Sally, Ye Suhua, Sienna, etc. Triki can also be a powerful ally as you reach the top floors of the tower, where many buffs and dispel teams are present.

Ollie (Osiris) – Osiris' invulnerability and life-saving abilities might look broken for many new players, but don't be deceived. Ollie's usefulness in the current PvP meta isn't so positive, given how killing off your opponents faster than they kill you is better. Even if you can delay them from killing you, it won't matter if your extra turn for survival won't translate to wiping out the enemy team. The same goes for clearing PvE content, but at least Ollie can help you survive by the skin of your teeth and feel like you clutched a match you weren't supposed to win.

Raven (Odin) – Similar to Triki, Raven also has the ability to wipe enemy buffs, but she can also inflict Def Down to the entire enemy team. This makes her a very powerful asset for AoE teams like Li Ling and Lin Xiao.

Tang Xuan (Sun Wukong) – Known more commonly as Sun Wukong, Tang Xuan should be a very powerful DPS Esper in his own right. Unfortunately, he is a Wind-Element DPS who has to compete against Li Ling, an Inferno-Element DPS. This puts him in Li Ling’s shadow for most of the game, except for specific content like Apep and Flowrunner. Despite that, he can still perform very well in PvE with good relics.

Biondina (Poseidon) – Despite being a Fighter Esper, she mostly performs the support role due to her Buff Blocker and enemy Dispel. However, she can cripple specific high-DEF teams thanks to her third ability which ignores a ton of DEF.

Tevor (Sphinx) – This esper is a peculiar unit whose DPS ‘ramps’ up as turns progress. Tevor isn’t that useful in Point War, but rather, he excels in fighting Kronos and Fafnir.

C Tier

These Espers may have great uses, but they struggle to compete with the other Legendary Espers in the meta.

Jin Yuyao (Queen Mother) – On paper, she does quite a lot at controlling debuffs and providing some utility, but she does all of them to a very middling extent. You might rather want a different unit with team-wide dispel and healing, while another unit for debuffing the enemy team. Nevertheless, Queen Mother still performs better than many 4-star options, which is a good sign for her.

Cecilia (Isis) – Cecilia can do a lot of things, but she’s solving a problem that shouldn’t exist for a competent player. She’s one of the very few units who can revive allies, but she doesn’t provide any offensive buffs whatsoever. If your team is getting wiped in the first place, there’s already something wrong in the team composition, which Cecilia can not solve.
