The Los Angeles Dodgers are finally getting Clayton Kershaw back on the mound for Monday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Kershaw hasn't pitched for the Dodgers since July 3 and is coming back at the perfect time.

The fans and teammates are excited, a new acquisition Max Scherzer said how excited he is to see Kershaw pitch, per Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA.

Scherzer always wanted to be on Kershaw's team, and now they are both sporting Dodger blue together in hopes of a World Series title. Scherzer has been absolutely dominant since being traded from the Washington Nationals at the MLB trade deadline.

In Scherzer's last two starts, he combined to go 18 innings with seven hits and just one run–unearned, for that matter– and he struck out 22 batters. He has been unbelievable, and suddenly the Dodgers have a three-man core of Scherzer, Kershaw, and Walker Buehler.

The Dodgers are still chasing the San Francisco Giants for the top spot in the National League West, and getting Kershaw back might be enough for them to finish the season strong and aim for another World Series title.

Sit back and enjoy Kershaw, Scherzer, and Buehler, as well as all of the other talent on Dave Roberts' squad.
