ABC/ESPN sideline reporter Doris Burke turned the tables on the sarcastically grumpy San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich during Sunday's Game 1 against the Golden State Warriors, skipping on the usual follow-up question as a self-given treat for Mother's Day.
“Happy Mother's Day to me, I'm taking the reprieve, sir. Mike Breen, back to you,” said Burke after getting one of Pop's signature short answers during the exchange.

Burke undoubtedly let Popovich off the hook and made him smile with at it. Showing once again that moms know all sorts of great tricks, including dealing with one of the most sarcastic personalities of the sport.
Somewhere in the world, Drake was slowly clapping upon seeing Burke pull that off on live TV.
