Likely as a part of its pre-wipe events, Escape From Tarkov currently has a limited-time questline. If you want to take part in it, then don't worry. Here is our guide to Part 4 of the Down The Rabbit Hole quest line, which is now live in Escape From Tarkov.
The event started back on December 2, with the Escape From Tarkov X (formerly Twitter) account posting a video of a man looking at a computer. The video then showed a man with a cat head on the video, talking about the game's TerraGroup, among other things. This added the Down The Rabbit Hole quest line in the game, which players can now take part in.
Down The Rabbit Hole – Part 4 Guide
Down The Rabbit Hole – Part 4 has the following objectives:
- Hand over 1 BEAR Buddy plush toy
Players only need to hand over one of the bear plushies to finish the quest. When the quest first came out, players had to collectively turn over 10,000 of the BEAR Buddy plush toys. Players could keep track of the total amount of bears handed in on a special website. Once 10,000 bears were turned in, part 5 of the questline unlocked.
Unlike the previous objectives, where there were set locations for the items that players had to turn in, the BEAR Buddy plush toys do not have a specific spawn location. Players will have to scour the game's various maps to try and find the BEAR Buddy plush toy for themselves. BEAR Buddy plush toys are normally located on Sports bags, Dead Scavs (the searchable container, not the defeated NPCs or players), Ground Caches, and Buried Barrel Caches. Interchange may be a good area to check.
Upon completion, players will receive the following rewards:
- +5,000 EXP
- +5 Searching skill level
- +5 Attention skill level
- Prapor Rep +0.01
- 1× Grenade case
- 8× F-1 hand grenade
- 8× RGD-5 hand grenade
- 4× RGN hand grenade
- 4× RGO hand grenade
After completing the quest, Down The Rabbit Hole – Part 5 will immediately unlock, allowing players to continue with the questline.
