Likely as a part of its pre-wipe events, Escape From Tarkov currently has a limited-time questline. If you want to take part in it, then don't worry. Here is our guide to Part 5 of the Down The Rabbit Hole quest line, which is now live in Escape From Tarkov.
The event started back on December 2, with the Escape From Tarkov X (formerly Twitter) account posting a video of a man looking at a computer. The video then showed a man with a cat head on the video, talking about the game's TerraGroup, among other things. This added the Down The Rabbit Hole quest line in the game, which players can now take part in.
Down The Rabbit Hole – Part 5 Guide
Down The Rabbit Hole – Part 5 has the following objectives:
- Obtain the first flash drive on Shoreline
- Obtain the second flash drive on Shoreline
- Obtain the third flash drive on Shoreline
- Obtain the fourth flash drive on Shoreline
- Stash the first flash drive by the car extraction on Streets of Tarkov
- Stash the second flash drive by the car extraction on Lighthouse
- Stash the third flash drive by the car extraction on Interchange
- Stash the fourth flash drive by the car extraction on Customs
- Eliminate 7 PMC operatives on Streets of Tarkov
- Eliminate 7 PMC operatives on Lighthouse
- Eliminate 7 PMC operatives on Interchange
- Eliminate 7 PMC operatives on Customs
Finding the flash drives is easy, as they are located in one area only. Players must head over to the Weather Station in Shoreline, the one with an orange building, and the one where the Goons spawn in. Once there, head over to the transformer. All of the flash drives are found there. Here are their exact locations:
- Inside the food can on the ground, beside the sign with a red lightning bolt
- Between the transformer and the fence, near the cans and bottles
- On the transformer itself, on top of one of the boxes on the transformer
- Inside the soda can between two cans
Once the player has gotten all four flash drives, they must then extract. Afterward, they will need to stash the Flash Drives in four distinct locations, namely the Car Extracts on Streets, Lighthouse, Interchange, and Customs.
- Streets
- Stash the flash drive in the garbage pile beside the sniper signage
- Lighthouse
- Stash the flash drive inside the tire beside the car
- Interchange
- Stash the flash drive inside the dumpster beside the car, near the tree
- Customs
- Stash the flash drive inside the bush to the left of the car extract, near the red gate and the broken wall with slacking barbed wire
As for the PMC kills, players can farm them while stashing the flash drives. Alternatively, players can also just stash the flash drives first, extract, then come back to farm PMC kills.
Upon completion, players will receive the following rewards:
- +28,500 EXP
- Prapor Rep +0.12
- 500,000 Roubles
- 525,000 Roubles with Intelligence center Level 1
- 575,000 Roubles with Intelligence center Level 2
- 2× Rys-T bulletproof helmet
- 2× Rys-T face shield
