During the Miami Heat‘s Game 4 victory to even their series with the Toronto Raptors at two games apiece, point guard Goran Dragic was tangled under the basket with Cory Joseph for a brief moment.

Perhaps he was simply attempting to get out of Joseph's hold, but it seems pretty clear that Dragic took a swing at the Raptors guard.

Initially, no call was whistled by the officials, probably in part because only minimal contact was made. Now, the league has stepped in to address the play.

This morning, the league office announced that Dragic has been charged with a technical foul retroactively. While this decision really doesn't change anything, it serves as a reminder to players that the NBA isn't afraid to hand out repercussions after the fact.

We'll see if these guys can keep their emotions in check as the Heat and Raptors square off in a pivotal Game 5 tonight.
