Draymond Green had his fingerprints all over Friday's statement win over the Phoenix Suns. The Golden State Warriors star produced a truly eye-popping performance as he helped his team emerge with a convincing 118-96 win over a surging Suns side.

Green's effort prompted quite a reaction from Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. After the game, Kerr had a brief yet extremely powerful statement about the Dubs veteran:

“He's the best defender in the world,” Kerr said, via 95.7 The Game on Twitter.

Green impacted Friday's win in the most Draymond Green way possible. He was a pest on the defensive end as he did everything in his power to disrupt Chris Paul and the rest of the Suns from executing their game plan on offense.

Green just missed out on a triple-double on Friday, finishing with nine points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. However, what stood out even more was the six steals and three blocks he produced in what turned out to be a record-setting stat line.

Needless to say, Draymond Green was on his game on Friday night as he helped the Warriors snap Phoenix's 18-game winning streak. The high praise from Steve Kerr is totally warranted following the former Defensive Player of the Year's heroics in the victory.
