Players will finally have more say on what they wear and how they appear in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA VERSION 1.2 BRINGS TRANSMOGRIFYING TO LIFE

Assassin's Creed Valhalla (AC Valhalla) players will finally be able to wear whatever they want in the game. RPG veterans are always at odds between stats and cosmetics. They might find loot that looks good but with bad stats. Meanwhile, there will be equipment that gives good boosts to the player's abilities but doesn't fit in the aesthetic the player is going for. The worst problem for these players is when their full sets of armor will have to be updated. Some parts of their cool gear will look off and different from the rest, only because the new armor has better stats.

Fret no more, since AC Valhalla version 1.2 is coming soon. Of course, there are gameplay updates that are more useful than the transmogrifying. AC Valhalla version 1.2 brings about an array of gameplay balances and improvements. But real RPG players care more about how good-looking their Viking is. The AC Valhalla version 1.2 brings with it the Transmog Update, which allows players to choose how their armor will look in-game. Note, however, that players will only be able to choose appearances of equipment they have obtained before. This means updating your gear will no longer feel as painful. You will only have to transmogrify the new equipment and make it fit in the rest of the set.

This isn't the first time transmogrifying will be added in an Assassin's Creed game. Even the previous title, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, received a transmog update merely a month after release. It's a feature that many fans love and request from the developers. Hence, it's actually a weird choice for Ubisoft to bring this out in a separate update, instead of making it available at launch.
