Jaemyn Brakefield, a five-star forward prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, has been offered a scholarship by the Duke Blue Devils.

This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers grassroots guru Jake Weingarten on Thursday.

Recently, the young man received scholarship offers from the Michigan Wolverines. It’s worth noting, the forward has also, back in August, already taken official visits with Michigan and the Louisville Cardinals. The Auburn Tigers are also after his services.

Basically, if your favorite school has a college basketball program, Jaemyn Brakefield is likely a target. For good reason, too.

Most reputable recruiting service outlets not only have Jaemyn Brakefield pegged as a five-star caliber recruit. Furthermore, most tend to agree he’s one of the 20 (or so) best prospects in the entire 2020 recruiting class.

Nevertheless, only time will tell of Coach K's new, more balanced approach on the recruiting trail is enough to lure the youngster to the famed Duke Blue Devils. Moreover, if Chris Mack, Bruce Pearl or the dozens of other coaches are capable of doing it for their own programs.

Time is, you know, undefeated.
