Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires will be released to the West on February 15, 2022, on the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Google Stadia, and the Nintendo Switch. The game will be launching earlier in Japan, however, releasing as early as December 23, 2021. In DW9 Empires, players will have to goal to reunify China. The game focuses on strategy as much as it does on hack and slash prowess. Unlike the original, DW9 Empires will not be open-world.
