The Philadelphia Eagles lost another shocker as the Miami Dolphins managed to edge them on Sunday,  31-37. It was a disappointing display of football as the team that won the Super Bowl two years ago is now struggling to string together wins.

To make things worse, ESPN Stats & Info revealed a worrying trend that will have fans screaming their heads off for head coach Doug Pederson's head:

The Eagles cannot hope to compete in the Super Bowl if they fail to keep up in the fourth. The final frame is where winning teams step up and make the big plays. However, the clutch gene has seemingly left the Eagles this year.

Some of the team's opponents in this list are incredible football teams. The New England Patriots are still scary opponents as well as the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas Cowboys can be. However, it's inexcusable for a team with hopes of contending for a Super Bowl.

Carson Wentz left a lot to be desired during these games. His passing can become a little spotty. That is especially true against tougher defensive teams such as Dallas and New England. Save their game against the Vikings, all of the games they lost saw Wentz get sacked at least three times.

With so little left in the season, there's only so much Pederson can do during practice to change how his offensive line and defense approach the game. They need to play correctly if they don't want to embarrass themselves during the remaining games of the season.
