After missing a mere one game in his previous nine seasons, Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham wound up being sidelined for 15 contests in the 2022 campaign due to a season-ending torn Achilles injury. He sustained the injury during the Week 2 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers and did not play in another matchup over the season.
For a player to suffer such an injury around his mid-30s could signal the beginning of the end for him in the NFL. But for Graham, he is aiming to defy the odds in the 2022 campaign.
For one, as he noted during a press conference on Wednesday, Graham has had “no restrictions” as of late with his injury rehab process, and he continues to make keen progress heading into the 2022 season.

More so, he added to SportsRadio 94WIP that he is ready to return to in-game action.
“Right now I am doing everything,” Graham said. “I am in the mix at OTAs, offseason program. No restrictions, nothing like that. Just working out, getting my lungs right, making sure I am in shape for when training camp comes … No restrictions. If we were to play this week, I would play.”
The Eagles will not only get a much-needed boost with Graham's expected return for the 2022 season, but the offseason additions of the likes of Hasson Riddick and Jordan Davis could also end up being X-factors for them within their front seven. This is an Eagles defensive unit that capped off the 2021 campaign with 29 total sacks, which was the second-fewest in the NFL.
