Just a day after DeVonta Smith was snagged at 10th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, he made an appearance alongside his new QB1 Jalen Hurts at a Sixers game on Friday night.

In classic Philly fashion, the two Eagles took their turns ringing the bell prior to the 76ers destroying the Hawks by a score of 126-104. Take a look, via Bleacher Report:

A warm welcome for the new quarterback-receiver duo that is expected to make some noise in 2021 for the Eagles. In case you didn't know, Smith and Hurts previously played together at Alabama before the latter transferred to the University of Oklahoma for his senior season. Hurts eventually got drafted by Philly in the second round of last year's draft and heads into this upcoming campaign as a clear-cut favorite to win the starting job with the Eagles.

As for Smith, he was one of the most electrifying wideouts in college football in 2020, helping Bama win a national title. The 22-year-old has been criticized his entire career for a lack of size, but after winning the Heisman, that conversation has essentially been put to bed.

The Eagles ultimately traded up to No. 10 overall to pick Smith as they look to give Hurts more reliable targets out wide. It's going to be interesting to see how the former Crimson Tide star fares in the NFL, but considering how high Philly took him, there's little doubt that Smith will be a success at the professional level.
