The Philadelphia Eagles squeezed by the Oakland Raiders on Monday night 19-10, effectively clinching the top overall playoff spot in the NFC and home-field advantage on through to Super Bowl LII.

Despite that, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has stated he still evaluating whether he will play any of the primary starters in Week 17 against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Focus.

“I’ll evaluate that tomorrow when we get in and see where we’re at injury-wise,” coach Doug Pederson said after Monday night’s win over the Raiders. “I might have more information for you tomorrow, but it will probably be more like Wednesday before I finally make a decision on who we play.”

Philadelphia has played themselves into the position not having to worry about the outcome in next Sunday's contest. Although the team could exercise the option of sitting their starters, the extra playing time for Nick Foles prior to the playoffs could bode well for him getting more acclimated under center.

Foles struggled a bit against the Raiders throwing for just 163 yards on 19 of 38 completed passes with a touchdown and an interception. Granted, he continually faced pressure in the pocket; it wasn't exactly an encouraging performance.

Another week in the offense in live action could be huge in helping him operating efficiently in the playoffs where every the importance of every possession is heightened. Ultimately, the Eagles are a great position heading into the playoffs.
