After a 31-15 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Philadelphia Eagles were eliminated from the playoffs.

Despite falling in the first round of the playoffs, the Philadelphia Eagles had an amazing season, and they must be pleased with everything they accomplished. Many people predicted that this club would only win 3-5 games, but they far outperformed expectations while still retaining three draft picks in this year's draft.

There have been many questions surrounding Jalen Hurts future and his status as the team's starting quarterback. He had a strong season, throwing for more than 3,000 yards and 16 touchdowns.

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles quarterback had this to say about whether he has done enough to keep his job,

“I think I’ve done a lot of great things this year, a lot of things to learn from.”

What Philadelphia does with Hurts as their starting quarterback will be interesting to watch. It would be a questionable move to get rid of him because he did everything he could this season to help a club that wasn't particularly talented reach the playoffs.

The Eagles might elect to take a quarterback with one of those three picks in this year's draft and make it a battle with Hurts. Philadelphia could also decide to bring in a quarterback who has already proven himself. There are going to be many options out there, but Jalen Hurts did enough this season to keep his job.
