The Philadelphia Eagles have had quite a few problems in 2019. A big one has been unanimous locker room talk. Players have supposedly criticized quarterback Carson Wentz.

Then came the alleged burner account.

The belief was that wide receiver Nelson Agholor was the owner of the account. However, according to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, Agholor is denying the account is his.

There are a lot of things pointing to the account not being Agholor's. First of all. His middle name is “Efamhule”. The account's name is “@efam33”. Come on, there's no way someone is dumb enough to just make their burner account their middle name and expect no one to notice.

Second, the tweets were not deleted for a long time. That included tweets that said things such as “maybe it's because Wentz doesn't throw a better ball than Foles, making it harder for us to catch”.

Someone would delete it the second they realized they accidentally put “us”.

This reeks of someone that is having fun with the whole situation. They are clearly just trying to get everyone to think the account is Agholor's.

Looking at situations like Kevin Durant's, when he was accused of having a burner account it was more obvious. The reason it was obvious was because Durant tweeted from his account using words like “he” when talking about himself. Meanwhile, the burner account that people linked to him was basically just tweets standing up for Durant.

Agholor's situation seems like someone trying to piggyback off that popularity. They made a “mistake” to get people talking. However, Agholor would not tweet something like that from his own account. So the fact that he put “us” in the first place just doesn't seem plausible.

Agholor could very well be annoyed with the situation. However, all signs point to this “burner” account not being owned by him.
