Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Haason Reddick opened up about the team's goal to get back to the Super Bowl in the 2023 season. Via Uproxx:

“But when you're talking about winning the Super Bowl, and you're that close, you lose by three points, of course the goal is to get back, everyone wants to get back,” Reddick said. “But you do have to take an approach of, what happened last year is what happened last year, and mainly that last year was a great year statistically, record-wise in any imaginable way for the Eagles, but we have to let go of that because it is a new year and we have to go out there and work again. We got to go do it all over again.”

The Eagles advanced to Super Bowl LVII but lost to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles had a 10-point lead in the game but were outscored 17-8 in the fourth quarter.

Philadelphia is a favorite in the NFC to get back to the Super Bowl. It has to go through the San Francisco 49ers, among others, to get there.

Reddick had the best season of his career in 2022. He was named second-team All-Pro and was tied for the NFL lead in forced fumbles (five). Reddick also had a career-best 16.0 tackles for loss.

The Eagles will open their season Sunday, Sept. 10 against the New England Patriots. Philadelphia is led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, who balled out in the Super Bowl with 374 yards of total offense and four touchdowns, including three rushing scores.
