The Atlanta Falcons were aware that the Arizona Cardinals took a commanding 28-3 lead over the Dallas Cowboys heading into the fourth quarter on Monday Night at the AT&T Stadium.

Star quarterback Kyler Murray scored the touchdown off a short rush, while kicker Zane Gonzalez made good with the extra point with 7:53 left in the third quarter.

While the 28-3 score doesn't mean much to the Cardinals, it does to the Atlanta Falcons. It is the score that launched a thousand angry fans. That pair of digits will forever be etched in Falcons history—for the most unfortunate of reasons.

That's why when the Cardinals erected that 28-3 lead over the Cowboys, the Falcons' Twitter account posted a hilarious and self-deprecating comment, bringing up bitter memories of the past.

It's one of those Where-Were-You moments in sports. In Super Bowl LI in 2017, the Falcons held a very imposing 28-3 advantage over the New England Patriots in the second half. Superstar quarterback Matt Ryan finished an 85-yard drive with a six-yard TD pass to running back Tevin Coleman with 8:31 left in the third period. It looked like they were on their way to their first-ever championship.

But then—look away if you're a Falcons fan—Tom Brady happened. He led a supercharged comeback of the Patriots as they slowly chipped on what initially looked like an insurmountable lead. The Falcons, meanwhile, were on a monumental meltdown.

In the end, the Patriots completed a fightback for the ages, stealing the victory in overtime, 34-28. Yes, the Falcons never scored again. It remains the biggest comeback win in Super Bowl history.

But as the Falcons' tweet said, no need to remind. They know.
