For the first time in Randall Cobb's NFL career, he will be playing for a team other than the Green Bay Packers heading into 2019.

The wide receiver is now a member of the Dallas Cowboys and is looking to get back on track after just having what was his least productive season since his rookie campaign back in 2011.

Of course, injuries played a significant role in Cobb's struggles this past year, with concussions in particular limiting him to just nine games.

But, there is also no doubt that the 28-year-old has been in steady decline since his breakout Pro Bowl campaign back in 2014, so maybe a change of scenery with the Cowboys will do him some good.

So, just what should fantasy football owners expect from Cobb this coming season?

Well, for starters, it should be noted that Cobb is a member of a very deep receiving corps that includes Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, Tavon Austin and Allen Hurns, not to mention tight ends Jason Witten and Blake Jarwin.

You also have to consider running back Ezekiel Elliott, who caught 77 passes in 2018, as a legitimate threat in the passing game.

Based on all of that, we don't even really know just how many targets Cobb is even going to get in 2019.

We have to assume that right now, he is, at worst, the No. 3 receiver on the team behind Cooper and Gallup, and with Witten now back in the fold and Elliott being a great pass-catcher out of the backfield, it's entirely possible that he could end up being Dak Prescott's fifth option a lot of the time.

Cobb has not registered 700 receiving yards since 2015, when he totaled 79 receptions for 829 yards and six touchdowns, and this past year, he registered just 38 catches for 383 yards and a couple of scores in nine contests.

Additionally, Cobb has been very stagnant after the catch over the last four years, averaging 10.5, 10.2, 9.9 and 10.1 yards per catch, respectively, since 2015.

If he couldn't put up big numbers as Aaron Rodgers' No. 2 guy in Green Bay, what makes us think he can post them as Prescott's No. 3 receiver in Dallas?

As you can tell, I am not all that high on Cobb going into 2019, as I really don't feel he is in a better situation as far as statistics go than he was with the Packers. As a matter of fact, you can argue that his circumstances will limit his numbers even more.

The good news is that Cobb is still fairly young, so it's not like he doesn't have anything left in the tank, but you really have to wonder if his spectacular 2014 season when he snared 91 balls for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns was more of a mirage than anything else, because he has not even come close to replicating that production since.

It wouldn't be all that advisable to draft Cobb as a No. 3 receiver for your fantasy team, as he is probably no better than a No. 4 in fantasy leagues.

There is the possibility that he could have a bounce-back year, but all signs point to Cobb not being incredibly productive for the Cowboys in 2019.

If he catches 50 passes for 600 yards, it would be surprising.
