Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season was a tame one for most fantasy field goal kickers, but perhaps some high-scoring games this week will provide more points this week. Which kickers in fantasy football should you start for Week 8? Let's check in with the top kicker situations around the league with the fantasy football kicker rankings for Week 8 of the 2023 NFL season.

While you're always going to keep valuable kickers like Harrison Butker or Jake Elliott when they aren't on a Bye week because they play for the best offenses, streaming at the kicker position is a viable option as well. Weather is going to start making a difference here soon, so rostering a kicker who plays in a dome can help you avoid some potential wind and conditions issues whenever possible.

Here are a few games where we can target kickers in the Week 8 fantasy football kicker rankings:

Rams vs Cowboys 45.5 projected total points

Bengals vs 49ers 45.5 projected total points

All four kickers should be rostered and started in fantasy football leagues, as these are some of the highest-scoring games on the slate for Week 8.

Week 8 Fantasy Football Kicker Notes

Justin Tucker, the one true king of kickers, should be in scoring position plenty against a Cardinals team that's starting to unravel…Harrison Butker at Mile High playing against a team he already hit four field goals against? That'll play…Jake Elliott is on a little bit of a downswing after scoring double-digit fantasy points in each of the first five weeks, but the Eagles should take the points plenty against a lackluster Commanders offense….

Brandon Aubrey has 8 field goals in Dallas's two home games this year, and the Rams give up the 5th most points in the league to fantasy kickers…Cameron “the kicker” Dicker banged one home from 55 yards last week and should get more opportunities against the Bears with the Chargers likely leading…Tyler Bass has been on a cold streak the last few weeks, but the Bills should put up plenty of points against the Buccaneers…Ditto for Jason Sanders who gets a Patriots team that allows the fourth most points to kickers…

Jake Moody hit a little slump after being perfect to start the year, but he redeemed himself with a 55-yarder on Monday…One more week for Riley Patterson, who should theoretically be in a great spot with this explosive offense going against the Raiders. It hasn't materialized into anything great yet, but you have to think it's coming…Younghoe Koo just nailed a game-winner, and the Titans allow the second-most points to fantasy kickers on the year…

Evan McPherson might be busy as Cincinnati's drives stall out against a tough defense like San Francisco's…Ka'imi Fairbairn has been the surprising beneficiary of Houston being able to move the ball well, and the winless Panthers should provide very little resistance given all their injuries on the defensive side of the ball.
