Still looking for more depth for your fantasy football roster? You have come to the right place – our Week 8 Waiver Wire Pickups will point you in the right direction for the next round of additions for your roster.

As unpredictable as the NFL is, the amount of players you need to go through to field a healthy roster every week constantly changes. You can never have to much depth on your fantasy football team, making the following ten players very important.

As always, the following list includes players that are rostered on fewer than 50 percent of all ESPN rosters, making the chances you can pick them up pretty high. You can never have too much talent on your fantasy football roster, which makes your Week 8 waiver wire pickups that more important.

10. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals – QB

22.6% Rostered

While he has not been cleared to return to play quite yet, the return for Kyler Murray is imminent. His long recovery from his ACL tear could be the exact thing that the Arizona Cardinals need to bring a spark to their roster, even if the front office may prefer to lose more games.

Murray likely will see his first game action around the Week 10 mark, so if you can add Murray to your IR list, then that’s an easy way to stash a potential starting QB down the stretch.

9. Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints – TE

5.6% Rostered

Having moonlit as a QB for your fantasy football roster at one point, Taysom Hill keeps hanging around, this time as a tight end. With the Saints without Juwan Johnson, Hill has been the most fantasy-relevant option for them, receiving plenty of receiving work.

His contributions also extend to running the ball as the wildcat QB, something that he has been doing for a quite a while – even with Alvin Kamara as the Saints starting running back, Hill still sees enough rushing work (including in the red zone) to be relevant in this department too.

8. D’Onta Foreman, Chicago Bears – RB

48.7% Rostered

With Khalil Herbert on the IR and Roschon Johnson still out with a concussion, it was the D’Onta Foreman show for the Chicago Bears in Week 8. All Foreman did was account for three touchdowns, including two on the ground, to make him one of the best running backs in fantasy football this week.

Herbert is still out and Johnson likely will make his return, but Foreman proved that he has enough to contribute as a flex player, minimally.

7. Devin Singletary, Houston Texans – RB

25.8% Rostered

It has been tough sledding for Dameon Pierce so far this season, and Devin Singletary has been the main beneficiary of that. In Week 6 against the Saints, Singeltary set season marks in carries (12) and rushing yards (58), while hauling in a reception.

It likely will continue as a timeshare between Pierce and Singletary, but the latter option looks to be gaining steam in the backfield, making him a solid running back addition in this week’s waiver wire pickups.

6. Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills – TE

31.3% Rostered

With news of Dawson Knox needing surgery on his wrist and an unknown time frame attached to it, the stock of rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid just shot up ten-fold. The Buffalo offense utilizes their tight ends well, making Kincaid a solid addition.

Kincaid has shown real promise in his rookie campaign, and he looks to have the trust of Josh Allen, making him the best tight end to add this week in your waiver wire pickups.

5. Ezekiel Elliott, New England Patriots – RB

40.3% Rostered

For our discussion on the best fantasy football breakout and sleeper candidates, listen below:

The New England Patriots backfield has been a bit convoluted ever since Ezekiel Elliott was signed, but the former Cowboy running back has been a solid addition, but for the Patriots and for fantasy football.

While rosters with Rhamondre Stevenson likely are not super happy, Elliott has offered up some solid RB3 value. Having only earned one fewer carry than Stevenson across the past three games, Elliott is a solid RB addition at this point in the season.

4. Emari Demercado, Arizona Cardinals – RB

15.7% Rostered

After being one of the Week 7 waiver wire pickup darlings, Emari Demercado was barely given any touches against the Rams. But against Seattle in Week 8, Demercado was given the green light as the team’s lead back, and he delivered.

65 total yards on 17 touches (four carries) helped put Demercado back on the map for your fantasy football team, so plan on him being the lead back next week for Arizona, but temper expectations.

3. Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs – WR

48.6% Rostered

For most of Patrick Mahomes’ career, it has been tough to trust most of his wide receivers for fantasy football purposes. However, SMU rookie Rashee Rice has been doing his best to try and reverse that trend.

In five of seven games this year, Rice has seen at least five targets, including six in Week 7 against the Chargers. Five double-digit fantasy point performances (in full-PPR formats) has put Rice squarely on the FLEX radar, and his role looks to be pretty solid moving forward.

2. Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts – WR

34.5% Rostered

Regardless of whether Anthony Richardson or Gardner Minshew is back at QB for the Indianapolis Colts, UNC rookie Josh Downs still seems to be a favorite target of his QB. Five-plus targets, including 20 across his past three games, has helped turn Downs from a roster filler into a bonafide WR2.

With the Colts likely playing from behind most of the rest of the year, look for Downs to continue to be a solid option for your roster. He is, at worst, a WR3 for the rest of the season, and finding that type of value in your waiver wire pickups this late in the season is a great value.

1. Darrell Henderson Jr., Los Angeles Rams – RB

12.1% Rostered

Who would have thought that Darrell Henderson Jr., a guy who has had his fair share of success with the Los Angeles Rams, would make his way back to help? As Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers both are on the IR list and Zach Evans apparently not ready to be the lead back, it was the Henderson and Royce Freeman show.

While Freeman did rush for more yards than Henderson, Henderson had more carries, found the end zone, and did make a small impact in the passing game. With three more games to go with Williams still out, look for Henderson to continue to factor into the running game.
