Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul is a boxing match that most people are trying to forget ever happened. It took place last year in June and was very uneventful with most fans feeling like they were tricked for their money.
One person that also felt tricked for money was Logan Paul. The now-retired boxer recently claimed that Floyd Mayweather had yet to pay him for the boxing match.
Floyd Mayweather recently addressed those claims on The Pivot Podcast. The boxing star confirmed he still hasn't paid Logan Paul and he doesn't expect to do so for some time.
“This comes with the territory. To them, that’s real money, and I like the YouTubers. The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while. Nothing comes right away. I’m still collecting checks from fights seven or eight years ago. They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life,” the 50-0 boxer said on The Pivot Podcast (h/t BJPenn.com).
It looks like Logan Paul could be waiting for a long time before he gets paid for the boxing match by Floyd Mayweather. The business end of things is very tricky and it looks like the YouTuber is finding that out the hard way.
Floyd Mayweather is a notorious businessman and Logan Paul is finding out just how ugly the businessman can get. It still has not been confirmed if Paul has launched the lawsuit but things are going to continue getting ugly between the two.
