Chris Staples, a former member of the Harlem Globetrotters, showed off his on-air arsenal Saturday morning, including a videogame throwback that was taught to be too surreal to pull off.

Much like the vintage NBA Street Homecourt, one of the first games to come out for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, Staples pulled off an impressive swing alley-oop dunk, lofting the ball with his two feet over the rim and slamming it home with his right hand.

H/T to Bleacher Report for the scoop.

This dunk resembles the double dunks, which were notably featured in Homecourt, making it one of the most popular sequels to the popular EA Sports franchise.

And if that way-back machine wasn't enough, there were also other dunks that fared well with the local crowd like this leap-over stunt that cleared three people.

This reverse dunk over one of the contestants.

And ultimately this 180 between-the-legs/rock-the-cradle fusion that he pulled off with relative ease to the astonishment out of those present.

Staples has been a known dunker in the L.A. and Albuquerque scene, and has played overseas basketball before joining the Globetrotters. One of the most creative on-air talents, it's clear why he's proved to be a crowd favorite over the years.
