Formula 1 is underway, as some of the best racers in the world compete for the title. There are a mass amount of celebrities attending the event, as some of the biggest names in the world are enjoying the race themselves. However, a hilarious moment happened when a reporter mistook former Duke star Paolo Banchero for Patrick Mahomes.

Greg Rosenstein shares the clip where the reporter chases down Banchero while calling him “Patrick.” It starts out okay, but the reporter quickly realizes he is not talking to the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback. That, or a producer notified the reporter he was not talking to Mahomes. Paolo Banchero answers the questions anyway before leaving to enjoy the rest of the Formula 1 race.

Quickly after the footage was released, Paolo Banchero himself reacted to the video on Twitter. It’s hilarious that the reporter chased down the former Duke star thinking it was Patrick Mahomes. However, the reporter clearly doesn’t realize he’s talking to a potential top-five pick in the NBA Draft. Perhaps the reporter can redeem himself later with another interview with a celebrity at the Formula 1 race.
